Aftershow for The Valleycast - Scientists Unveil The... Super DVD?

Steve saying One Piece is very funny lol!

10:02 Steve loves Trixie! A closer step to him and Brittany Broski meeting each other ๐Ÿคž

I disagree with Steve that family friendly content = Christian content.

I love BluelizardJello, a gaming channel and I do not get cringy, Christian vibes from his humor at all.

Nor do I get it from Trisha Hershberger and CozyK. And all the other feel-good content out there. (camping, work vlogs, toys and crafts.)

Christian influencers aren't on my radar either but that doesn't mean I don't think they are around. It's called being in a bubble. I like and accept the bubble. Steve seems to think his bubble is the world....

23:17 ๐Ÿ˜‚

28:45 Every show and movie, I have zero distractions. I think it's ridiculous that people have to look at their phones during a movie. Or they have to talk over scenes.

I'm so glad my husband is like me, quiet during movies. (Obviously, laughing or saying a word from being shocked is fine. But a full sentience? ๐Ÿคซ)

I watched Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul alone then watched it again with my husband. I couldn't imagine watching that with people who wont shut the fuck up.

Watching stories with bad writing is the only time, it's okay to talk and look at your phone.
(Like, the movie picks they watched on If Feels Like The First Time. I feel like Brett and I are the only people who loved that season of the podcast. It was fun watching shitty movies and talking about them afterwards. It was sweet hearing why people liked those movies and it was great insulting the movies with people who hated them.)

I remember the clip at the end of the SourceFed video about Breaking Bad's last episode, it showed Steve and Owen in a room with other people all watching it... Couldn't be me.

The room cheering over the sounds coming from the show would annoy me. The quiet moments in the writing are there to make you feel tense, they're not there for you to talk and fill in the silence with your bullshit.

I don't want someone ruining the tense feeling that sits in your chest right before a character speaks. I don't want their line delivery to be overshadowed by someone trying to be cheeky.

Also, I love going on deep dives, it always makes the movie better.

Even more so if I'm annoyed with the ending then I read about it, calm down and start to love the ending after thinking about it longer.

That's why I hate fast reactions of movies from people. I think it's better if they sit with it. Think more about what they just saw: the whole movie, not just the ending and then share their thoughts.

The same goes for game reviewers, they need to sit and think about their experience instead of hurrying to tell people their thoughts the second they finish the game.

It's a boring way to enjoy art if you're only looking for stories that made you feel satisfied immediately.

They talk about the Super DVD and how digital stuff isn't permanent.
I would love a Super DVD of The Valleyfolk ๐Ÿฅบ

Steve says the Cars movie is trash but he didn't even watch them because "It's so creepy! A world full of cars!? Where are the humans?!" Grow up, Steve. Watch the movies then shit on them. That's how that works.

I like the movie but also I'm defending it because of this ๐Ÿ’…

1:01:45 It was fun to yell the opposite of whatever Steve yelled.

Steve triggered me a bit because it brought back that feeling of having to deal with "little brother energy" all my childhood ๐Ÿคฎ

He was allowed to say whatever but if I got annoyed, I needed to be "the mature one" and not argue with him because I'm older.

Big sisters have to grow up and not get mad easily but little brothers can stay bratty.

So, being able to "rebel" against Steve's brattiness by yelling the opposite from whatever he said, felt great!

Aftershow for The Broski Report - Having a Literal Meltdown Over Meeting Beyonce

I'm so happy for her!!

After seeing her comment about that guy she was so happy about last ep, I'm so happy that she got to meet Beyonce to help her not be too sad about him!

I love thinking about all the haters so upset and jealous that she got to meet Beyonce.
The people that unfollowed her and want to see her downfall are mad ๐Ÿ˜œ

A big "fuck you" to that friend who leaked her video that was meant to be private ๐Ÿ˜Ž

6:32 lol

10:23 That's so cute!

20:14 Funny rant ๐Ÿ˜‚

21:23 LOL

41:31 Talking about Tumblr times in 2014.

For me it was Myspace and Youtube in my teen years.
Also, in 2014 I still felt like a teen. I was 24.

So, I loved Tumblr. It gave that Myspace vibe I missed so much. Tumblr was amazing and still is. It's really good for fandom stuff. Not news or memes. At least that's how it is for my feed. I'm only following blogs that post nerdy stuff. Or cozy and artsy stuff.

It's really fun to browse while listening to a podcast.

47:01 Her yells will always be funny!

I'm not into Beyonce but I love seeing Brittany fangirl over her all episode. Because I would act the same if I met Keanu Reeves or Matt Mercer. Two men who are known to be the nicest people in the acting (and voice acting) world ๐Ÿ’–

Aftershow for Dynamic Banter - Don't Try To Help, Jeff Ep. 402

Funny parts:
2:42 - 5:26

9:30 - 11:58

14:13 - 15:54

23:08 - 27:49

37:35 - 38:30

They called out a fan for his criticisms on Kevin. He pointed out what Kevin does and said they didn't find Kevin funny. That was too much for the boys to handle.

The fandom disagreed with that fan. Mommy and Daddy wasn't needed.

Since they look at Reddit, why didn't they say anything about the post asking about their Patreon? It's mainly "Before The Banter." They choose to ignore the post letting them know we want more than just extended episodes...

They told him to become a Patreon if he wants episodes with Kevin not in it. But he's already a Patreon:

๐Ÿ’”

Remember when they said this. I know people can change their minds and opinions on stuff they said in the past but that was one month ago ๐Ÿ˜… Come on, ya'll.

1:04:30 Mike getting triggered.
It fits right up there with him being pissed about:
1. A "what if" scenario of some kid eating "his" slice of pizza to make a pizza sandwich.
2. Steve being excited about a star being named after him.
3. Nic saying cover songs of Creep are better than the original.

Mike is always experiencing the "What about me" effect.
Owen should tell him #NotEverythingIsForEveryone

Those girls were either drunk, high or just playing Truth or Dare. It's so harmless and funny because of his reaction with the texts. It's only funny if boys do prank calls, not girls!!!

1:10:38 Only Mike, Steve and Kevin can roleplay and make jokes. No one else. Not the fan doing work for the boys and giving them a fun game to play on the podcast.

They should be thanking this fan. That joke about Owen being canonically dead is the same energy that fan was trying to do with Mortimer.

The joke can just be "canon" for a few episodes then forgotten. Not a big deal, Mike.

That fan sounded so happy in that email. He wanted to roleplay in their joke about him while he does the work of coming up with titles. Don't want him to be silly then do the work yourself, Mike.

Instead of expecting the fan to be happy with exposure for giving you their time (again) coming up with fake titles from stuff you have said, how about you pay him.

Not all the fake titles are ones he made up on the spot. He put in the extra work to relisten to old episodes. Pay him.

Steve would've played along for fucking sure. Steve knew that fan earned being silly. I'm just such a big Steve Zaragoza fan, I'm so glad he wears his heart on his sleeve because that makes it easier to know I'm a fan of a good person. (Same with Brittany Broski. She and Steve are the funniest people on the planet. I would love for them to meet someday.)

I'm happy every time he streams, makes a podcast, guests on other podcasts/videos. Anything he does, I like. He's so chill and can get along with anyone. I would love for him to show up on Rooster Teeth stuff again. They would fucking love him over there!

(Cloverfeels podcast review I left on iTunes.)

Congrats for ending the episode like a baby, Mike. I hope Owen laughed that you ruined the fun vibe because Owen was the one who wanted this game back. And he loves laughing at uncomfortable moments.

If I was listening to a podcast with my two good friends as the hosts, it would be really hard for me to be mad at either one of them. I'm sure Owen didn't find Mike annoying for being a buzzkill. Owen seems just as chill as Steve.

Owen, thank you for allowing me to end on a sweet note by thinking about you being happy that the game is back ๐Ÿงก

Aftershow for The Valleycast - Using Time-Travel to Unsee Movies ("That's TENET, baby!")

Steve talks about an idea to watch Tenet with them and post it on the channel and I would love that. I sent them an email asking them to think about a movie club or TV show club.

Let's go back to doing shit for fun and not for views.

I've been listening to the Anma podcast and they talk about missing the days of doing shit for fun, and not thinking about it being popular.

That's what The Valleyfolk channel needs to be doing. The boys making videos or podcast episodes where it' just because they feel like it. Fans just want to see them happy anyway!

24:34 Medieval Times sounds dull to me but it would be fun to go with funny people for sure! I'm just thinking about how I would just end up going with family and I'm not into it...

Also, Brittany Broski made is seem fun in her video.

I would love to go to Japan before turning 40 with my husband. I've already been there when I was 17, in 2007.

And it wasn't a family trip ๐Ÿ˜Ž

(I'm in the red shirt.)

(This was the view outside my bedroom window!! ๐Ÿ˜)

41:22 Fuck yeah, Joe! Shut the fuck up, Steve.

Joe having cats wont affect Steve at all.
I'm so happy Joe shrugged him off so quick and easy ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

With the AI creating cool videos now, how did people not see this coming?

I've already been mentally prepared for a while now. The annoying, scary shit and the cool shit. I knew AI would get better and better with learning how to not look like "dreams"

I think people are stupid to think AI art would be "ugly" forever. A fucking dumb argument and a waste of time because the real problem is when it doesn't look "ugly."

That's what we all should've been mentally ready for.

46:29 ๐Ÿ˜‚

We should go cottagecore to coexist with AI:
Read books.
Write letters.
Take polaroid pictures.
Bake bread.
See a play or concert.
Buy paintings.
Touch grass.

And them talking about how bad the movie "Old" is and questioning how it was approved to be made, has me thinking, "Some of these creators are so bad that they may as well be replaced by AI." (This is me joking!)

Universal income is the answer. I agree, Joe. I like that Steve is trying to stay positive but it's going to be a hard time getting there. Because with the news, AI will be very scary. Conspiracy theories and propaganda are annoying enough with trying to silence the truth. Now they'll have an easier time with AI to help grow their numbers and ignore scientific facts.

Aftershow for The Broski Report - I Found an Irishman

2:18 I love when she does a "show and tell" with her toys.

I'm not that into Beyonce's music, I like some songs but if she did rock, I would be interested in hearing that right when it comes out.

The power went out last week for a few hours so we put batteries into the radio and it was actually fun listening to it. I know people say the radio is annoying but maybe only in bigger cities? The radio hosts we heard were chill, here in West Virginia.

I think I'll start listening to it just to keep up with new song releases. I usually don't because I'm not a music person. If a song crosses my path and I like it then great. If not, then I miss out for months or years until I hear it in a movie or show.

But maybe I don't want to miss out anymore. Keeping up with new songs was fun when I was in high school. So, I'm going to start doing that now with the radio.

This level of excitement is how I feel about the game Quantum Break. I just discovered it. I can't believe I didn't hear about it when it came out in 2016. Quantum Break is proof that games are a better form of story telling when it comes to immersion.

I love her passion for the music she loves. I can only relate to it with video games. All the tattoos I think about getting are video game related.

16:55 ๐Ÿ˜‚

20:38 That's how I felt when I find a VA has lots of 18+ audios. And when a good fanfiction writer has more than one story about a pairing.

Her dating profile ๐Ÿ‘Œ

I love this rant.

31:43 I love this too.

I would love for her to find love. I always get happy when Steve Zaragoza is dating and happy because I hate seeing him hurt and bitter about love. I'm glad he is still friends with Bree because she's funny and cool as fuck! I hope if he goes through another breakup, it wont be on bad terms.

I don't know much about the woman he's dating now but see looks like his ex-wife a little and she seems more calm from the few clips of her but I can also tell she's more silly than his ex-wife. I hope her being more chill than his last two girlfriends, is a nice balance for him and she ends up being the winner ๐Ÿคž

I want Brittany to find a good man. He doesn't have to be funny, just be smart, have a good sense of humor (laugh at the same shit she laughs at) and be interesting to her. Him being funny is just a plus. I know it's too early but I hope this turns into something sweet.

LOL I really hope it's not false hope. I wish you the best, Brittany ๐Ÿงก

Aftershow for Dynamic Banter - Not a Constipation Situation Ep. 401

They start by talking about how embarrassing it is to use the bathroom when it's located in the middle of a home. I agree with Mike, sad but true ๐Ÿ˜‚ That judgment only goes away once you get to know that person better and more time of when that happened goes by.

But yeah, I remember not wanting to be around someone after hearing them take a nasty shit.

I don't go out much anymore, I relate to Jesse on this. I stay inside my peaceful home, in the countryside. And maybe go out shopping once a month. The last time I've visited my home state to hang out with friends and family was around 2017.

So, I'm hoping I've matured enough that when I am out with friends and I meet a new friend and they shit real bad in a bathroom next to me, I wouldn't think they were gross. Because come on lol It's so unfair but we're human. We judge others for dumb stuff all the time.

The best we can do is shoo those thoughts away and don't let it affect the way we treat them.

This topic reminds me of how the restroom was, at a church in Phoenix. There was a waiting room connected to the toilet room.

I hated seeing a line of people when I got out, when there wasn't one when I went in. But at least I was just a kid during that time. So, I had the privilege of not caring about strangers and what they thought of me. As a teen, we have that mindset of being "untouchable." That we can get away with anything because we can play dumb and be all like, "I'm still learning don't get mad or make fun of me ๐Ÿ™„"

Anyway, it was fun looking up this church. It was a big part of my life because I was forced to go every Sunday until I went to college. I had fun spending Sunday mornings with my cousins. We were like best friends back then. So, seeing this is giving me a nice feeling:

But it was my friends and family that I really didn't want to embarrass myself in front of. I was always nervous that someone I knew was going to be in that line in the waiting room.

Many fans compared him to how Owen was but hell no. Owen was more aware about his commentary on DB

Kevin should continue the Talkin' Banter aftershow since he feels the need for fans to hear what he has to say.

28:30 No one asked. Just tell them in private. Or in the comment section. Or in an email, like the rest of us who aren't hosts of the show. Even their good friend, Nic Hamilton sends emails.

55:08 History Road.
They listen to episode 14 of DB and it's trippy because I just listened to it not long ago because I've been relistening to all the EZU stuff. And a fan on Reddit told me that their favorite DB episodes are the first 100 or so. I agree. It was so special before they moved out of Steve's home. Mike also said he loved recording there the most ๐Ÿงก

I thank Alexa every time too.

Aftershow for The Valleycast - Steve Rediscovers Joy from an EAGLE?!

They start off by apologizing for last week's episode and said that they had a hard time thinking of something to talk about. That's wild they felt that way. I feel like Elliott did such a good job with his solo episode that he would be able to bring up any topic.

They should have more guests lined up to be on the podcast. Just record more than once a week with each guest to have as back up episodes. Not because they're bad episodes but just to have when they aren't feeling entertaining a certain week.

10:16 Steve says he lost his creative spark.
That's upsetting to hear. I hope he finds it this year. I really don't want the Valleyfolk podcast to stop and that's what that conversation felt like it was linked to.

I really want them to know that they still have fans who love them.

Fuckin' Lee couldn't keep the drama to themselves. Like, how Brittany and Sarah did. Fans still don't know what happened between the girls and it should stay that way. We are fans, not their friends. It's none of our fucking business.

I'm so sorry they made you lose that creative spark, Steve.

I love listening to Steve talk about shows and movies.

When I first watched Midnight Mass, I was kinda into it but also bored with the speeches. I liked the priest's speeches but everyone else I just wanted them to shut up and simplify what they wanted to say.

The priest is the only interesting character. Not that I was rooting for him, I didn't care if he "won" or "lost" I just wanted him to be on screen more. The other characters were boring or annoying.

But I loved watching people on Youtube react and talk about it. That part was more fun than watching it.

There were some people who didn't give the religious characters a chance just because they were religious and that was annoying, I left their channel to find someone open minded. They just reminded me of my mom who wouldn't like any character who was an atheist. It's fucking fictional characters! You don't have to agree with them to like them! People like her are frustrating to me.

I love when a story has characters so different from me but I still end up enjoying watching them throughout the story. I can't imagine only liking characters I would be friends with in real life. Having that limit is such a boring way to pick favorite characters.

25:04 Getting mad at dream versions of people.
When that happens with my husband, we just hug then move on. Not a big deal. It's easy to show that we care about each other's feelings by not dismissing it.

Shrugging off their feelings is what makes them stay mad "for the rest of the day." It's like waking up from a nightmare and your partner telling you to shut up, calm down and get over it.

Just hug and laugh about it.

If they actually want you guys to apologize then yup, dismiss those feelings. That's insane.
But I have a feeling Steve and Joe are being defensive for nothing. Hug your partners who aren't emotionless robots!

They start talking about how people aren't meant to be famous because it stresses people out to have a lot of eyes on them.

I wish more content creators would do online shit as a hobby. I remember some vloggers being so fucking interesting because they had a day job. But once they get more popular, they quit their job to do content creation "full time." And then they stopped being interesting because they only talk about shit I already know because other creators I watch talked about it.

When people have common day jobs, they have more unique experiences and stories to share. They don't have to be funny, just be interesting because sometimes I'm not in the mood for comedy and memes. I just want to watch something chill.

54:51 ๐Ÿ˜‚

Reminds me of the chicken cam on Twitch that we put on when we don't want to be in a quiet house ๐Ÿงก

1:03:43 Lol!

Aftershow for The Broski Report - High and Babbling About the 7 Deadly Sins

Okay so, now I know, she's funnier when not high. I think this is one of those episodes that would be great to watch while buzzed. But I still enjoyed seeing this side of her because I imagine this is what it's like to hang out with her while partying.

6:37 ๐Ÿ˜‚

7:28 Her forgetting what she said lol
But also, I forgot what she said LOL

22:40 I would love if she got into The Witcher!
I wont feel like I wasted my time on that garbage if she talks about it on the podcast. Loves it or shits on it, doesn't matter if it's funny.

And I would love if she got into the books after seeing the show! I only like the books because of Geralt's character. The other characters are boring when they talk about the lore of the world and shit. I skimmed parts where Geralt and his friends aren't on the pages.

He's such a good male character with a kind heart. While most other male characters, in other series, are only kind if it's a woman or child that needs saving but Geralt treats men and women with the same kindness. Plus, he loves his best friend and doesn't like to be alone, while in the show he's too "manly" to have a best friend and wants to be a loner ๐Ÿ™„

In the book, he's already soft enough to be a father towards Ciri ๐Ÿ’›

Meanwhile in the show, Ciri makes him soft and become friendlier...in season 2.

23:42 Seven deadly sins.
I'm suffering from 4 of them:

Lust - Towards fictional men.
Wrath - Towards my government at the moment.
Envy - Towards rich people.
Pride - For feeling like my tastes are better than others ๐Ÿ’…

Aftershow for Dynamic Banter - The 400th Episode Extravaganza!

(I was sad about this episode and I explain why but for my future self, and anyone reading, let's lighten the mood right off the bat by turning this into a drinking game. Take a shot every time the words, cheap and lazy show up.)

They call different guests..."yay" for bad audio from the phone calls ๐Ÿ˜‘

Why couldn't they just be there in person? Not all in one episode but a whole month (or more) of guests on every episode for a real celebration.

Let's Get Haunted had guests on for two months and as a "Halloween special" they did extra short episodes called, "What's Haunting You?" That took so much more work because they were meeting the guests for the first time themselves and the girls had to research topics for each episode. They made time to meet them off the podcast and on just to see if the vibe was right to collab with.

They are such hard workers. And they are a smaller podcast. I was expecting more work to be put into it from Steve and Mike. They have more Patreons and more help so I don't get why this episode was the best they could come up with to celebrate 400 episodes.

At least have Owen there in person to play on the keyboard for History Road. Or have Bree and DJ there to help with getting more people supporting the movie he's trying to make. Just something that isn't "Lets call our friends and asked how they feel about us having 400 episodes! Also, they can't hear the soundboard or see us so they can't fully joke along with us. It'll be good enough."

It's not. I love this podcast but this is really lazy. If Let's Get Haunted can work hard in a week to record so many episodes for the month and be funny, then so should the boys. The only hard part the boys had to do was hold the phone up to the microphone.

They should have an easier time because they can be in the same room. The girls can't, but that didn't stop them from making good fucking episodes.

Different๐Ÿ‘Guests๐Ÿ‘Every๐Ÿ‘Week๐Ÿ‘For๐Ÿ‘Two๐Ÿ‘Months๐Ÿ‘(or more!)

I really feel Nat and Aly's gratitude and love for our Patreon support. While I just felt the laziness from DB because they "planned" this shit in a week.

(Nat and Aly would have kept track of the number 400 and recorded guest episodes early. Having each of the guests in the episodes from start to finish. And that's exactly what they did.)

A special return of the Talkin' Banter would have been better. If the 400th episode was just Owen and Brett talking about episode 399. And 401 was Steve and Mike doing the episode like 400 never happened.

That would have been so fucking funny and fun! A good inside joke for the hardcore DB fans.

Or if Owen didn't want to be on camera, just have Brett and Chris with Owen off camera/off mic, adding to the conversation. Two inside jokes in one episode.

Whatever, I guess that's what fans are for. The fans think up all the good shit that could happen and write fanfictions (or blog posts), do sketches, or make fanart of the ideas.

The boys are so funny but so lazy. They've seen the episode numbers. They had so much time to get ready to plan something and choose to wait for the last week to think. And all they came up with is phone calls.

I'm not a hater or a troll, I'm just disappointed at the moment. By next week, I'll have "fangirl mode" on full force again. I'm not a mindless fan. I need time to get over this sour feeling and this blog helps. It's better than leaving a comment on their video or a post on Reddit, right?

If they didn't have a Patreon I would expect just phone calls but they do and I wanted more love put into it.

Lets Get Haunted post extra shit on their Patreon like Vlogs, gaming and cooking videos. Pictures and blog posts. They make it feel like a fun nerdy club that is worth paying for.

The girls don't just post extended podcast episodes on there.

2:24 "big big show"
They even point out that it doesn't seem that special. They know how cheap this is yet aren't sorry about it.

The bit of how big the celebration is goes on and on. I'd rather they just acted like this was just a normal episode because this is just annoying. Just reminding fans how they didn't plan much for this.

Maybe this episode seems more exciting to audio only listeners?

I know for a fact that the DB fans would hate this blog post ๐Ÿ˜… Stan culture sucks. They wont let fans criticize the boys or Kevin because "true fans" accept and support DB no matter what:

(Even if you love Kevin, you have to know this is true. They were downvoted for pointing out this fact.)

4:07 They go into the technical difficulties bit ๐Ÿ‘Œ

11:16 First call is Ryan... I like Ryan but he started out as a fan, like Kevin. So, him being a guest is so lackluster... Why not just call people who have been their friend from the start? Joe and Elliott? Give The Valleyfolk podcast a shout out so the fans who only know of DB can learn of The Valleycast. If they love Steve, they will love him on other podcasts too.

I know their friend group thinks that The Valleycast isn't worth listening to but it fucking is. Joe and Elliott are hilarious. On or off Zoom.
Plus, it's the fucking podcast they choose to promote Gunplay.

Yes, Ryan has been a big part of the show so why not have him on a full episode? Suck it up and have him on Zoom or do another VR episode.

20:44 Second call is Harley.
Who I don't know because I don't watch his content. I only know him from the few times they called him before. Why not call people from SourceFed? Where's Will? Sam? Candace? Reina? Steven? Trisha Hershberger? People who DB fans will most likely know of and if they don't, they'll be interested in checking out because both Steve and Mike were on SourceFed too.

Harley is a mystery to me. It sucks that Steve picked him to call just because he's playing Fortnite with him a lot. His Fortnite crew? Really?

The chaos of a lot of guests would be funny if this was planned for weeks. But it's chaotic because they were lazy. It sucks how rushed this all feels.

I love Malcolm's response to Steve calling what they are doing on the podcast "work"

Yes, podcasting is work but look at the context of what they have to do for work and what others have to do. My husband works at 12pm and has to deal with the general public. So, if we lived near Mike's place and at 10am they were screaming into a microphone, they would wake my husband up early and call it important because it's "work."

Malcolm asks who's their favorite guests and they can't even name one. "We don't have many guests" Seriously? Will and Nic? Owen?  The fact that they weren't prepared for that question is wild.

Third call is Whitney, after they read the Ads.
I usually hate dream talk too but this could've lead into some funny jokes if she was the only guest.

52:17 Forth call is Felicia ๐Ÿ™ƒ
Combine everything I said about Ryan with Harley and that's her.

I think calling fans from their Patreon would've been better. It would actually be interesting because each fan would be prepared for the call and talk about their favorite moments.

56:47 This is a weird way to show it, Mike. Learn from Let's Get Haunted on how to show your love and hard work to fans next time.

Malcolm asks them when did they start the show, right after Mike says "400 was a important number to us" and they both can't even answer it. They have Kevin look it up. How are they not prepared for that question?

1:03:56 History Road from Nic Hamilton because they couldn't call him.

1:08:47 Fifth call is "Sally" who they once had on the show before. This bit would've been funny if it wasn't in this episode. We could spent more time talking to Malcolm but no. Let's make him hear this inside joke.

1:20:00 fans from the DB discord stepping up to really show the fucking love. Maybe if the boys wanted to not think about the 400th episode until the week of, they could've just read History Roads. Because we fans know how to really nerd out on the shit we love.

The fans have made DB very funny. From sending in clips, videos, music, gifts, stories and bits. Fans helped form this podcast.

The boys wanted to end the show not knowing that someone else was going to call. Are you kidding me? How can any fan reading this, think I'm being bratty? This "extravaganza" is rushed.

This is cheaper than the Zoom episodes because we know they worked hard to get the sounds to be as clear as possible during that time. This is just lazy with guests who don't get a full hour to be on the episode.

1:25:37 Owen is the sixth caller.
Owen seemed nervous that he didn't have a favorite moment thought up and had to think fast. But it's all okay, Owen. Because the rest of the episode has been a let down. Nothing you can do would make it worse. If anything, the fact that you care makes it better and worth getting to this point just to hear your phone call. ๐Ÿงก

1:31:31 Chris is the Seventh caller.
I LOVED that Malcolm was reading old stuff Chris worked on. And I love finding out that he still listens to every episode, like Owen. Their support for their friends is so sweet.

Thank you, Owen, Chris and Malcolm for making this episode worth listening to. What both Owen and Chris had to say about the show was very nice and adorable!

I'll end by reminding whoever is reading this that I still love Mike and Steve. I wanted some thought put into this episode like the thought they put into their awesome merch.

Next week I'll be in better spirits. I know now to not be over hyped for DB episodes and Patreon content. Fans should just be okay, with a rare, extra long DB episode ๐Ÿ‘

Aftershow for The Valleycast - NEVER Record a Podcast on a SATURDAY!

One minute into the episode Elliott brings up the ASMR tapping that every fucking person does. I don't know what I hate more, them doing it fast for just a second or slowly.

When it's slowly, it's cringe and when it's fast it angers me because why do that? It's just a loud tap for no reason because it's not a ASMR video. It's an unboxing video! Just open the fucking box like a normal person.

3:25 Kevin says it's torture to not look at his phone during a movie.
Is he joking? I can't tell.

Maybe that's why he's often confused on horror movies because he looks at his phone too much? (He asked who was the boy talking to on the phone in the movie, The Black Phone... Come on, Kevin!)

They think up some movies that Elliott should pick to watch with his wife. It says in the description that he watched Spiderman: Across the Spider-Verse with her. Feels like a waste of an option but hopefully they had fun.

19:22 Kevin is scared of turning 30....in two years.
Shut the fuck up.

Here are a few positive things to end on:

(I left this comment because I want this idea to keep popping up in their heads.)

Steve is live streaming on Instagram while I type this! He's doing covers with Owen.
I asked them a question: (Low audio because I just wanted that timestamp and Steve is very low because he was far from the mic in that moment)

I'm guessing they argued about it since Steve didn't like it. I miss It Feels Like The First Time podcast so much, I like hearing their different opinions.

And here are some fun clips from his Twitch streams this month:

Aftershow for The Broski Report - I'm Joining The Air Force

1:51 Bit she loves saying this week.
I love that. I can be so sarcastic with that towards my family and they wouldn't know I was joking ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Her real time reactions will always be entertaining.

Her long bit about talking to the vice president ๐Ÿ˜‚

13:16 Funny bit.

18:29 Songs of the week talk starts.

She talks about one of the song artists having health issues and how that's when faith becomes strong for people. The ups and downs of what religion can do with their man-made practices.

I want a strong faith without having my family try to force me into their way of showing faith. They believe anything those "TV ministers/pastors/priests" will say. It's annoying.

I only listen to Joseph Prince because I had to pick a random one to listen to and all I knew was that I didn't want to listen to a white man. So, I listen to him every Sunday with my family because it makes them happy but also because I do like having him explain and translate what the Bible is saying. I think because his first language isn't English that he feels more comfortable to use simple words that quickly get to the point. I like that. (Plus, he's very friendly and calm vs others who are angry and judgy.)

While a minister with English being their first language, would try to be poetic in every sentence and use too many examples, it would drag on and be over dramatic than it already is. Just get to the fucking point so you can move on to the next bible verse!

And so far Joseph Prince hasn't said anything problematic from the few videos that I've seen and as soon as he does, I'll stop listening to him. Because it doesn't matter who it is as long as I feel comfortable listening to them explain the Bible to me. Just reading it alone isn't easy to understand what they meant by certain words that mean something different nowadays.

When I voice a question about god, I'm not asking for an answer, I'm wanting my family to theorize with me. But they always have to think up an answer. It's okay to not know! That's the point of bible study and theorizing things even ministers don't know.

It also frustrates me that my family wont have an open mind about the Bible being man-made or at least has been messed with, edited. They wont hear of it and it's so careless to not even be alert that men in power will try to manipulate anyway they can.

I like to still learn the Bible even knowing this because if I'm right, then at least I got to learn how people in the old, old days spoke and the culture. And if I'm wrong then at least God will know my heart was in the right place even though I don't trust the Bible, because it's paper made in a factory...

I still have my faith and show it when I pray and show it by still wanting to learn the Bible.

This might be why religious people pick and choose what to believe in the Bible and what not to. They just wont admit it. The Bible being edited or made up is in the back of their heads if they pick and choose.

I like having my faith while not bothering anyone else with it. It's so hard finding other people who have faith but feel the same as me. I love that I have my husband, the most important person to connect with on that topic! But I would like to find more people where we can talk about faith without the heavy religion part.

I believe in God, not in religion.

It's tricky being into science but still having faith. It's not an easy feeling to explain. Like, love or trust. You don't choose which friends to love and trust, you just do. It's a chemical reaction you can't control. Only your actions to those feelings.

If you're thinking. "I can choose who to trust!" You're lying. You can say over and over again that you trust someone but if you have a bad feeling they might steal from you, talk behind your back or cheat on you, then that's the clue that your words are just trying to convince yourself that you trust them.

You can choose to not see or talk to them again while still loving them. Love is not a switch you can flip on or off at anytime. Like, faith.

So, I'm choosing to not bother anyone with my beliefs while others choose to be annoying, hateful and dangerous ๐Ÿ‘Ž

(Anyway, back to the funny shit but it was nice typing this all out.)

28:14 Funny bit.

30:19 Funny rant.

Brittany's furry suit LOL

47:03 Cute stationeries.
Yes! I wish America had cute common shit to buy, not just school supplies but household items too. (Instead of just a white version or black version...and sometimes rose gold....) Cute stuff is rare AND expensive here...

I would love to see her collections of kawaii stuff she buys at Korea Town and Little Japan! Like, how Steve Zaragoza showed off his hat collection and toys in old vlogs.

50:34 Funny bit returns.

I shrug off the toxic shit too if there's a hot (Yandere) guy in the story ๐Ÿ’…
It's fictional fun! It's fine!

Aftershow for DB - Can You Smoke Piss Ep. 399

3:00 Funny bit.

6:17 Funny bit returns.

10:40 Reptilian Conspiracy.

20:00 Steve starts talking about Poor Things.
I've never seen that movie so I paused the podcast to go watch it and....I got 15 minutes in and stopped. It's not for me.

Did she not like Alana? ๐Ÿ‘€ I'm thinking this because why would Steve bring up showing his dates to her unless she didn't like someone he was dating in the past?
I'm being a nosy fan. Sorry!

28:55 Funny bit.

37:47 Sleep standing up?
Them calling fans will always make me uncomfortable and I know, that's something I have to learn to get over. They were fanboying big time and I get it, I might do that too if I ever got a call from Steve but it was hard to listen to lol

52:27 They're asking for fans to film themselves explaining what the show is.
I hope someone sends in a video of them saying, "It's a comedy podcast" and the person says, "Cool, I'll check it out" then the video ends.

It's not incorrect to just say it's a comedy, it's an accurate description. It's either going to be their type of comedy or it isn't.

With Steve and Brittany Broski being the funniest people in the world to me, I still explain their shows as comedy. It's not more complicated than that just because they're my favs.

They ask what fans would want for a 400th episode.
Here's what I would love:

I miss getting inside information into their friendship. And I miss Brett and Owen!

54:50 History Road.

I loved the Pearl Jam themed song.

I wonder if this little version of the "DB or Not DB" made Owen happy.

I'm upset they ignored our comments last week. We know they read them and now it seems like they just rolled their eyes instead of hearing us.

Fans even said that they love the boys, just because Mike's comments rubbed them the wrong way, doesn't change that. We know at their core, they are good people. So, it's frustrating they ignored our comments but will talk about the comments mentioning the new intro song. In two different episodes.

They can't think, "fans should know us better than that" and "fans will never really know us."  Which is it?

I loved that during the BLM movement, Steve said that Dynamic Banter was 50% his so he wants to talk about the movement because it's too important to act like it's not happening. It's important for fans to know that they're more than just sarcasm and fart jokes.

I only know Mike from what he shares on DB, I don't follow his other content. If someone only knew Steve from DB, they would at least know, Steve's heart is in the right place. So, it's thanks to Steve that I know Mike's heart is too because Steve talks about Mike outside of DB

Anyway, when is Bree going on the podcast again? She's funny as fuck.

Aftershow for The Valleycast - The Gang Starts Manifesting (With DJ Wooldridge!)

0:43 lol

That's sad that Elliott was going to be in the movie too. I wonder what kind of character he would've gotten.

10:58 Maybe this show is good luck.
It brings talented people together that's for sure ๐Ÿงก

Manifesting ๐Ÿ˜‚

Good luck on making the movie, guys! Gunplaymovie.com

19:55 Nostalgia for watching commercial breaks as a kid.
Nope. It's not the same. I hate ads so much.

Amazon Prime just updated that it's going to start showing ads now unless we upgrade to a higher tier. Fuck these companies. We are already paying for the service but they want more now?

Adblock makes the internet less annoying.

31:18 Elliott hasn't seen Planet of the Apes. (Same.)
It was funny watching him make up character names.

I would want to go for a "Pokemon Land." I have zero interest in Disneyland and I've never been there. I'm not really into Disney shit. Also, Universal Studios is cheaper than Disneyland? Then yeah, Universal Studios all the way.

It was fun going there in Japan. 2007:

Lots of cute merch but I don't know if that's only because it's in Japan or if all the Universal Studios locations have cute merch. (Cute as in anime styled. The only style I care about for my merch ๐Ÿ’…)

Dead Space would be a cool series but only if it had the same sounding voices. Like, how the new Hunter x Hunter anime hired voice actors that sounded the same as the old voice actors. (I thought it was the same VAs at first!)

I still haven't checked out The Last Of Us series because I love the video game characters so much. And seeing how different they look and sound makes me want to stay away.

It was hard getting used to Cole's voice in Infamous 2 because I loved his voice in the first one. I'll get around to checking the show out but...not for a while.

I'm glad that The Last Of Us show did really well because it made new fans want to come check out the better version of the story.

I'm not sure if I'm excited for the Fallout show coming out. Because it's an easy series to make a film about (every game is a new set of characters). I've seen so many fan made films, shows, animations and shorts about it, that I'm kinda tired of it now. But maybe by the time it's out, I wont feel the burnout.

Here's one that I really liked.

40:45 The Curse.
Steve didn't like the ending?! That's shocking because he usually likes bonkers shit.

I would have been okay with the ending if the show wasn't 10 fucking episodes long. It didn't need to be that long only for it to go towards an ending like that. That ending could've been so cool to me if it didn't waste time on other shit.

I wonder what Owen thinks about it. I can imagine him loving the ending and I can imagine him hating it. So, that's a weird feeling about someone I don't know much about but lately when I think of Steve, I think of Owen too. I guess because Steve mentions him so much because they're best friends ๐Ÿค—

53:40 Joe watched Wish.
The twist that he hated it lol!

I tried watching some of the old Adam Sandler movies that I thought was funny as a kid. But damn, they do not hold up. Such cringy dialogue and acting. Still has funny moments obviously but I don't remember the awkward transitions from one scene to another.

I want to check out Uncut Gems sometime. And now Spaceman. But the trailer being choppy as fuck is so funny.

I thought this too! ๐Ÿ˜‚

I'm watching the livestream right now and I asked when will Bree and Whitney be on Dynamic Banter again. And they agreed and said that they would love to go on again. So, I hope that happens soon!

I tweeted at them about it just in case Steve forgets to talk to Mike about it.
