Aftershow for The Valleycast - Steve Rediscovers Joy from an EAGLE?!

They start off by apologizing for last week's episode and said that they had a hard time thinking of something to talk about. That's wild they felt that way. I feel like Elliott did such a good job with his solo episode that he would be able to bring up any topic.

They should have more guests lined up to be on the podcast. Just record more than once a week with each guest to have as back up episodes. Not because they're bad episodes but just to have when they aren't feeling entertaining a certain week.

10:16 Steve says he lost his creative spark.
That's upsetting to hear. I hope he finds it this year. I really don't want the Valleyfolk podcast to stop and that's what that conversation felt like it was linked to.

I really want them to know that they still have fans who love them.

Fuckin' Lee couldn't keep the drama to themselves. Like, how Brittany and Sarah did. Fans still don't know what happened between the girls and it should stay that way. We are fans, not their friends. It's none of our fucking business.

I'm so sorry they made you lose that creative spark, Steve.

I love listening to Steve talk about shows and movies.

When I first watched Midnight Mass, I was kinda into it but also bored with the speeches. I liked the priest's speeches but everyone else I just wanted them to shut up and simplify what they wanted to say.

The priest is the only interesting character. Not that I was rooting for him, I didn't care if he "won" or "lost" I just wanted him to be on screen more. The other characters were boring or annoying.

But I loved watching people on Youtube react and talk about it. That part was more fun than watching it.

There were some people who didn't give the religious characters a chance just because they were religious and that was annoying, I left their channel to find someone open minded. They just reminded me of my mom who wouldn't like any character who was an atheist. It's fucking fictional characters! You don't have to agree with them to like them! People like her are frustrating to me.

I love when a story has characters so different from me but I still end up enjoying watching them throughout the story. I can't imagine only liking characters I would be friends with in real life. Having that limit is such a boring way to pick favorite characters.

25:04 Getting mad at dream versions of people.
When that happens with my husband, we just hug then move on. Not a big deal. It's easy to show that we care about each other's feelings by not dismissing it.

Shrugging off their feelings is what makes them stay mad "for the rest of the day." It's like waking up from a nightmare and your partner telling you to shut up, calm down and get over it.

Just hug and laugh about it.

If they actually want you guys to apologize then yup, dismiss those feelings. That's insane.
But I have a feeling Steve and Joe are being defensive for nothing. Hug your partners who aren't emotionless robots!

They start talking about how people aren't meant to be famous because it stresses people out to have a lot of eyes on them.

I wish more content creators would do online shit as a hobby. I remember some vloggers being so fucking interesting because they had a day job. But once they get more popular, they quit their job to do content creation "full time." And then they stopped being interesting because they only talk about shit I already know because other creators I watch talked about it.

When people have common day jobs, they have more unique experiences and stories to share. They don't have to be funny, just be interesting because sometimes I'm not in the mood for comedy and memes. I just want to watch something chill.

Reminds me of the chicken cam on Twitch that we put on when we don't want to be in a quiet house ๐Ÿงก
