I love the loud exciting start to book talk.
I'm not interested in ever reading those books but I LOVE hearing her talk about it so much that I wish she would just full on spoil it for me sometimes. I can appreciate and enjoy the concept while not wanting to actually read/watch/play the story.
It's the same with Sydney about manga. I'm never going to read those cheesy manga stories full of cliches but when she explains the story and it's characters, it's so fun to hear because she loves it. She makes it sound better than it actually is.
Without Brittany and Sydney, I would never know of these stories. I love seeing people I like, nerd out to shit. I say this a lot but I feel like it needs to be drilled into people.
So, when other fans get bored because they don't care about certain topics, I get annoyed with them for not having an open mind to at least hearing an entertainer share their love for it. I get it if it's a boring person who is explaining it but I'm talking about funny people at the moment.
I love it when Brittany yells at the fans who are like that. And Sydney does it too 👌

I also like when stories are about strong friendships but I get so frustrated when fandoms always ship the characters into having romantic feelings for each other. As if, friendship isn't strong enough of a relationship unless its "upgraded" to romance.
Fans can't believe that friends can care about each other so much and not kiss and fuck each other.

How I feel when people complain about characters on The Walking Dead having good aim. People will find anything to complain about with that show, it's annoying as fuck.
I've seen people complain when they have perfect aim.
I've seen people complain when they "waste" bullets missing.
All this bitching at it just because TWD wont have the characters be boring and not take risks. People want the show to just be a peaceful, slice of life series where they avoid danger? Really?

It looks so powerful to be this proud of your writing. I wrote one Hunter x Hunter fanfiction years ago and I hate myself for it. It wasn't romance but still...cringe.

I never thought about it like that because I haven't been out much to have friends do that to me. She's making sense though so I agree. I would feel like the person was bored with me if they just had to have their phone at the ready to look at all the time.
2. Person scrolling on their phone while in conversation.
Agreed. Turn the phone off if you're talking to someone unless you're about to show them a video or something.
3. Texting and driving.
I've never had to deal with that and it sucks that she has to. And I hope none of my friends have to deal with that or are the ones doing that. Stay safe and smart, please!
I never have to worry about being the jerk doing any of those things to someone because I'm not glued to my phone. Yes, I'm proud of that.
