Sherlock Holmes Crash Course
Can't wait for the day she admits that it never was "millennial cringe" it's white cringe.
Also, AAVE has been around before you were born!
Zoomers have co-opted AAVE and are calling it theirs.
I love you, Brittany but that part of you will always annoy me.

(This. Context matters.)
But a lot of white people are just being themselves when they joke. You all should try being a little creative too:
48:00 Yup. Looking at you, Jessica and Barbara!
DO NOT Learn the History of Valentine's Day
3:56 Exactly. Men aren't sneaky just because some women let it slide. I'm glad women are going online to call them out and encourage other women to do the same.
16:40 Haha! Sounds like a shitty teacher.
You should follow Malissa for perfume recommendations.
And her videos are cozy and she has good tastes in books.
I miss your vlogs, Brittany!
Started My Period in Churchill's War Room
4:57 I agree! Good art makes you still think about it after it ends. Good art makes you want to talk about it with someone.
People who hated Hereditary just because of the ending, are stupid. It's so fun to talk about this movie with other horror nerds and go back to see the clues I missed the first time. That ending made me want to understand it more by looking it up online.
This movie made a grown ass man rage on any movie with cults in it after he seen it. That's how mad Hereditary made him. But he loves slasher movies like the Scream series? Okay, so he just hates good writing? Got it. "How dare a movie trick me and make me feel dread and outsmarted! I like slashers better because I understand everything that's going on! No thinking or paying attention to the backgrounds are needed!"
I really hate when people enjoy the fuck out of a movie until the last few minutes and then act like they hated the whole thing from the start. The journey was either enjoyable or it wasn't, rather or not the ending is satisfying.
I've seen a reaction channel where one of the girls was hiding behind a pillow the whole time until the end and said, "The movie wasn't even scary!" Stop lying to yourselves.
But if it was the other way around and the story was bad but the ending was awesome, (The Curse) then that's when I feel like it was a waste of time. I don't think an awesome ending will ever be strong enough to make a boring journey worth watching.
But a strong build up of a journey will always be worth it no matter how it ends. (Mass Effect 3) Because there's so much to talk about with a good chunk of it!
And I loved Hereditary's ending, by the way. 🤘 And the book of Stephen King's IT.
Again, I think Brittany should check out Malissa! She loves perfume. I don't know anything about perfume, I just follow her for the cozy vlogs. Her voice is very peaceful, she doesn't do ASMR stuff but it feels like it is that type of content!
My songs of the week are all by Electric Callboy:
Discussing the Lamp Dream
Men not cleaning their ass because it's "gay" is an American thing, right? The dumbest men in the world are in this country.
13:37 Creepypasta!
I like that she makes fun of the choice to use the word, "bore" for "she bore me a child." Because that shit pisses me off when people speak like that online. It's cringy and a dead giveaway that a story is fake because it's trying to sound intelligent. It's so bad.
Let's Get Haunted will read posts on Reddit if it's part of the story and so many fuckers type like that. Ew. (But please connect with Nat and Aly and talk about haunted stuff! Nat said she loves you!)
Plus, they have an episode where they talk about the Hat Man too!
43:10 I want her to breakdown some of the songs I listen to. Because I feel like screaming like that too when I see dumbass Youtubers react to The Heretic Anthem by Slipknot and think he's talking about the devil 🙃:
"I'm a popstar threat and I'm not dead yet
Got a super dread bet with an angel drug head
Like a dead beat winner, I wanna be a sinner
An idolized bang for the industry killer
A hideous man that you don't understand
Throw a suicide party and I'm guaranteed to fucking snap
It's evil sonic, it's pornoholic
Breakdowns, obscenities its all I want to be
If you're 555, then I'm 666
But if you're 555, I'm 666
What's it like to be a heretic?
Everybody's so infatuated
Everybody's so completely sure of what we are
Everybody defamates from miles away
But face to face they haven't got a thing to say
I bleed for this and I bleed for you
Still you look at my face like I'm somebody new
Toy, nobody wants anything I've got
Which is fine because you're made of everything I'm not
If you're 555, then I'm 666
Well if you're 555, I'm 666
What's it like to be a heretic?
Thirty seconds, sixteen, eight, four, lemme tell you why
I haven't the slightest, I'm teaching your brightest
They're listening, clamoring
All the money in the world can't buy me
Go ahead, lie to me
Tell me again how you're tortured
I want to know how you followed your orders so well
You're full of shit
You had a dream, but this ain't it
If you're 555, I'm 666
If you're 555, then I'm 666
What's it like to be a heretic?"
When this is what the song is really about:
And I want her to breakdown some songs by System Of A Down! They have strong things to say:
(I love his breakdowns. Yes, he says some dad jokes in a lot of his videos but just move past that because I love that he talks about the style of the music and the singing as well as breaking down the lyrics.)
I've seen a video of two dumbass guys disapproving of one of System Of A Down's songs from their first album because it was about suicide AND made you want to headbang to it. It was stupid how they treaded that song like it shouldn't exist. As if all heavy messages in art should be boring; "because making it entertaining is disrespectful and fucked up!" Very closed minded.
Art can be entertaining while telling a dark and painful message.
Anyway, I would love for more people, like Brittany, who love pop, hip-hop, country or rap to give metal and rock music a chance. And listen to what they have to share. It's not just "screaming into a microphone" or "satanic music". It's poetry too; just like every other music genre out there.
(Although, I don't understand how other people let out all their anger without screaming in their music. A lot of Slipknot songs are about bullying and abuse: "Is there another way to live? 'Cause it's the only way to die. I'm not supposed to be here. I'm not supposed to be! Come on" Now doesn't that feel so satisfying hearing him yell that anger out? Metal is so good for finding someone to scream out your frustrations with.)
Every genre has bad music, bad apples. But to act like a whole genre is bad just because people want to be lazy and generalize rock music because they heard a song they didn't like or didn't even try to understand, is snobby.
And then there's the fuckers in the metal community that want to add sub-genres in metal and rock.... 🙄 Shut up, stop being picky with what labels go with what band, and just listen and find what vibes with you.
Stop limiting your tastes by what's popular or indie. Or going by what's old or new.
Sometimes trash is popular and sometimes the songs deserve the hype.
