I finally got a PS5 thanks to my mom. I'm so happy! I got it in time for the Mass Effect Legendary Edition. The fast loading time is so good. (I didn't even know Resident Evil Village had a loading screen until I seen someone on PC playing it.)

Cyberpunk 2077 and Mass Effect

Right after getting the PS5, I started recording my favorite playthrough of Cyberpunk then my favorite playthrough of Mass Effect. The fast loading times really comes in handy with recording. I had to do it a lot when a glitch happened or I picked the wrong dialogue option.

Vinyl records

We got a record player because my favorite podcast said they might make a vinyl of all their best bits. And I was always kinda interested in getting one so why not now? After ordering it I started looking for video game and anime vinyls. A lot of them are sold out...I wish I got a record player sooner. 

Ozark

I started watching this show after seeing that my favorite Youtubers did reaction videos to it. 

Nikki and Steven React

I hate Wendy though. I really can't stand her face when she smiles. Since the first episode, she has proven to just be so selfish. Can't wait for the next season though! 

The Handmaid's Tale season 4

I think this was my favorite season so far. I love her character development so much. It's what I wish a lot of other main characters would turn into in other series. I'm just sick of the "I'm going to be the bigger person" characters. Her choosing to hit back is so satisfying. In real life, it's unhealthy but as a show, I really love it! Shows don't always have to be about promoting positive messages. Sometimes it can just be about telling a fucked up story for entertainment. Can't wait for the next season.

Overland

This game is so fun and addictive! Very easy to want to replay. I do wish you could make your own character and name and I wish when you do a solo run the dialogue had the character talk to themselves. But other than that, this game is great! 

 

Lets Get Haunted podcast

I found them because of Steve Zaragoza but I bookmarked them for months until I just got into the mood for creepy stories. I'm so happy I found them, they are so funny! I marathoned their podcast in a week. Yes, the stories are interesting but their humor is why I became a fan.

Never Have I Ever season 2

I love this show. The main character and her mom are the best characters. (I hate the new girl for getting so upset with the main character that she didn't even talk to her before going to get her in trouble. The popular girls actually spread the rumor while the main character just yelled something out in anger and left. The two girls should get the blame even if the main character planted the seed unintentional. Fuck that logic.)

New phone

My mom sent me one of her old phones and it runs so much better than the one I was stuck with. And has more room so now I can download TikTok. (Someday I'll get an actual new phone.) 

ClickBait on Netflix

I really liked this show until the ending. The last twist was unnecessary but it still was a fun watch. 

Bad stuff

Coffee Talk - wasn't a fan of the dialogue, too cringe AND boring for me. But the music is very peaceful and it made me finish the game. I liked the world but it's too bad the characters were really boring or annoying. I wanted to like it because I like the style and setting of the game. Oh well.

Haven - Basically the same reasons I hate Coffee Talk for. I am interested in a second game but I will not buy it at full price. 

Lucifer - Just end it already. Or just stick to being a comedic, love story now. I don't care about any other story plot other than the main character being happy with his true love. 

Attack on Titan manga - I hate the ending.

RE8 - the only thing fun is the gameplay. AND it's so much better listening to their annoying dialogue after putting the voices in Japanese. 

Days Gone - the gameplay got old. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood, I don't know. I think the story, characters and dialogue are cringe. I didn't even finish it. Too many unnecessary cutscenes. 

Mr. Robot - I really loved the first season. But after that it felt like a slow burn. I liked a lot of moments after of course but over all, I was bored. I didn't care about the side characters. I just wanted to see the main guy progress but he hardly did... then those last few episodes were torture. Too many speeches that made my eyes roll. I'm glad I checked this show out but I'll never watch it again nor will I recommend it to anyone. 

Colony - I loved it better when the main couple were on good terms. I was hoping for the husband to admit that his wife was brave and strong for what she did but he just keeps throwing it in her face for lying to him. Get over it. He would've lied too in her place. There's no right answer. She was thinking if she were ever caught, she would hope that keeping her family in the dark would save them the punishment she would get. 
She was my favorite character. Whatever. 

Spring 2019

New Computer

Finally got a new laptop after having our old one for 9 years. Can play lots of indie games I've been wanting to try out. And I missed playing Hearthstone so much. I want to get into Gwent as well.

The Long Dark

I've been wanting to play this game for a long time but I didn't want to play full price. Finally got it on sale for PS4 for just $12. So happy! It's a really relaxing game to play on the easiest setting. 

A nice surprise I found was that the voices for Commander Shepard are the characters you play. 

Both female and male Shepard.

Mercy x Genji is Canon

I never paired them together before but I'm all for it. It's so cute.

I know a lot of people complained about this Overwatch event but I thought it was really fun.

New Fortnite Season

I LOVE sci-fi settings so much right now.

You on Netflix

I really enjoyed this show a lot. Reminded me a little bit of Fifty Shades of Grey. But this main girl is a lot more interesting even though I can't relate to her like I could with the one in Fifty Shades.

I hope there's a season 2 soon.

Lone Echo

I loved the relationship between the two main characters so much! 

A.I. characters that develop emotions in a realistic and believable way is the best. 

I hate when robot characters act too human like the ones in Detroit: Become Human. I thought the robot characters were written so lazy because they gained self awareness and emotions very easily.

They didn't even try to make the robots seem different at all from humans. So, it's commonsense to side with the robots having equal rights in the game. They didn't make it a hard choice to go against them at all because there was nothing to be scared of other than "they took our jobs!" 

I like when robots act like robots with just a little hint of them being alive.

The Walking Dead Season 9

I finally caught up and loved it. I still love this show so much and I'm so happy they gave me hope for my favorite character. Can't wait to see what happens next. I love people vs people. I love drama.

Attack On Titan Manga

I caught up with the manga after watching one of the episodes from Season 3 and got in the mood to read because I couldn't remember what happens beyond the beach episode. 

I'm so happy I caught up. I can't wait to see so many action parts get animated! I love Eren's development and I'm obsessed with Levi again. 

I still really miss Erwin....

The Handmaid's Tale Season 3

I'm so happy to watch more of this show!

There's a sex game being made called, Subverse and it's for Mass Effect fans but it's aimed towards men only. Shocking.

Summer 2018

Went to Phx

I got to visit my mom and my friends for a few days. It was a really fun time. I missed hanging out with Dolly, Jessica and Amanda.
I wish I got to spend more time with my mom through. I feel kinda bad about that.

Uncharted: Lost Legacy

I didn't like the other games at all. It's just too cheesy a lot of the time. But this game, I really enjoyed. I think because it was just focused on two characters becoming friends and growing that relationship. 

And they're strong, female characters. 

I wish this game was around when I was a little girl.

South Park: Fractured But Whole

Was really funny and I like it better than the first game. It's a really fun game. 

Making It

I love these two. I loved Parks and Rec, started rewatching it. 

So, this show was a nice treat. 

The Handmaid's Tale

I love this type of dark drama. But I didn't like it as much the first time watching because I got stressed when the main character wouldn't do what I wanted her too. But I enjoyed it so much better the second time watching it. I watched it with my husband and he had the same stressed feeling I had but I helped him like it when I told him my thoughts on why it's good she doesn't do what we wanted. 

(I don't want to spoil it so I'm sorry if you hated reading that paragraph.)

It Feels Like the First Time Podcast

They are back! I'm so happy! They are watching two episodes of Castle Rock a week. And the show is actually interesting.

Fran and Emongg

I found them during the DVA sprays were drops on Twitch. 

I love their friendship, they are so funny! 

And the stream turned into a sweet one when they both played with a 8 year old girl and let her win. I was so happy to witness that cuteness. 

They now play with her every Friday. 

Cayde-6

I instantly loved him. He is the color in the black and white world of Destiny. 

The story is really boring and so is all of the other characters. He made me try to listen to the story just so I can know him more by understanding the world he's in. 

The bad stuff

Destiny sucks for killing off the only interesting thing to me. I just got into a new game just to know that it's a dead end. I don't give a shit about any other character in the game but Cayde-6. 

Heavy Rain sucks. It was a big disappointment because for a long time, all I heard was how good of a story it had. I couldn't wait to play it someday. 

It has bad acting, bad writing and bad controls.
