Aftershow for The Valleycast - Joe Learns What Gooning Is

19:18 ๐Ÿค”

I remember having a puppy when I was little and not reacting when it died but then two weeks later I cried for it.

I had a fish in 2017, I got really sad when it died and I told my husband we are never having another pet. Not worth it if I can get attached to a fish then any other pet would hurt harder.

This fish noticed when we walk up to the tank and it gets excited for food. So, maybe just lizards suck because they don't react to people taking care of them at all? I don't know, Joe ๐Ÿคท You might like a fish because it seem to react to us feeding it and it was cute ๐Ÿ’•

Yeah, I feel like Instagram will replace TikTok for sure.

The way Steve described the Fallout show makes me think I wont enjoy it because that's the vibe I thought it had. I'll still give it a chance but I wouldn't be surprised if I'm more harsh towards it than Steve. I hate cheeky humor but maybe Steve is describing it wrong? Because he has said that DEVS was good and I hated it.

Joe usually likes family friendly bullshit so I don't trust him either by saying Fallout is really good. But we'll see who I agree with more. I might watch it this week!

I'm so glad they agree that the movie, Event Horizon doesn't hold up. I loved listening to podcasts retelling it because it sounds scary and awesome but when I tried to check it out, I hated how bad it looked. What I pictured from the retellings was much better than the movie.

I agree with Steve that hell in space is cool but it's done badly. While Joe thinks all of it is dumb but I think he would have a open mind if the acting and visuals weren't cheap. Some movies need a remake.

Unofficial aftershow for the official AFTERSHOW: The Small Gentleman

2:52 This is why Talkin' Banter was fun but with Kevin there now to correct the boys while they record, TB would be pointless. TB corrects the boys after they record so we got to hear Steve and Mike being wrong about something the whole episode and it was hilarious.

(A moment of silence for a dead bit.)

7:00 I want Brett and Owen to be on the Let's Get Haunted podcast and just laugh at and with the girls on everything. They're already in the EZU because they've had Mike and Steve on their show before. They've had Steve on by himself and Elliott too!

Those boys had an open mind and the episodes were fun ๐Ÿงก

I feel like Brett and Owen would be chill and get into the mood of listening to ghost stories without rolling their eyes too. (Plus, LGH is audio only so Owen doesn't have to be on camera ๐Ÿ‘Œ)

I'm also a skeptic but I love listening to LGH talk about ghosts and aliens! They are very funny women. Their podcast is the reason that got me to finally make a Patreon account just so I can support them when they announced it, day one.

I love this podcast! They do so much work because they are passionate about it. Each episode one of them tells a story, a spooky topic they spent time researching on their own.

Nat writes hand written thank you notes to anyone who buys their merch. I love being in their community. They are so active on their Patreon, they make it worth paying for. It's like their own private social media. Posting fun videos, pictures, random thoughts and rants ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ‘ฝ๐Ÿ‘ป๐Ÿณ๐Ÿ’ข

I'm so happy I've found LGH before they get too big and busy. In some ways because the girls are more active with their fans, they feel more nerdy than the boys of the EZU.

16:12 My dad wouldn't let us play Nintendo games because he thought it was dumb games. But PlayStation was good because it had "brain games" LOL I don't know.

Because of him, I became a PlayStation gamer, I love story based games more than playing a game to pass the time. But I do like some Nintendo games, I just have to be in the mood for them.

I enjoyed the times of watching my dad playthrough Tomb Raider games because they were too scary for me to play myself. I played Spyro, Crash Bandicoot and a disk that had demo games on it. (Until I got older and realized that Tomb Raider wasn't scary and then played it myself.)

17:27 One of the first things I've recorded was on a VCR because I wanted to see Digimon season 2 anytime I wanted. I had a crush on the character, Matt and I would rewind and fast-forward to him being on screen over and over. Then I started recording Transformers RID for the same reason; had a crush on the character, Sideburn.

Later, I recorded Dragon Ball Z episodes just to have them and my dad seen I was building a collecting (because there's so many fucking episodes of DBZ) and would then buy me the actual videotapes.

He also bought me magazines with DBZ characters on the front. I didn't really have a crush on DBZ characters, I just really loved the show. I loved any strong woman that showed up, my favorite was Videl.

I love doing these blog posts because it's fun thinking about the my childhood that I haven't thought about in a while. I asked my mom to start sending my old stuff little by little by mail. I've rearranged my home and I'm decorating a room to make it look like it's from late 90s to early 2000. It's looking real cute!

I've never had my own room before so it's fun to imagine how I would've decorated it if I did. (And the only reason we have an "extra" room to have fun with is because we put our bed by the backdoor and made that area look like a bedroom. It's cozy ๐Ÿก๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿต)

18:21 Reminds me of Goosebumps! As a kid, I loved watching the theme song when the dog's eyes turned into yellow snake eyes. I thought it looked cool, evil and scary while the rest of the show was too corny for me. I wasn't smart enough to know good and bad acting yet but I knew when horror stories were softened.

After the episodes ended, I would talk to my friends about how it could've been scarier if "this or that" happened instead. That part was fun and made it worth watching.

24:42 ๐Ÿงก

(Comic-con 2011 in Phx. I'm on the right, my best friend in the middle and my cousin on the left.)

Yeah, those crazy protesters about cosplaying being evil, at every Comic-con, are annoying.

33:26 Like 3 Tims & a Tina from The Valleyfolk! I really wish that stream was archived. It was fucking funny. They never broke character and started and ending the stream as their characters. There was a moment where they were silent to hold in their laugh but then got right back into the bit. I wish I could see it again!

37:48 More proof that Kevin is not like Owen at all. Yet people keep saying he's the "new Owen" when Kevin feels more like another Steve.

41:19 Brett explains The Pacifier.
I enjoy listening to people explain shitty movies than for me to actually watch shitty movies. It's fun!

I recommend the podcast, The Dead Zone Drive-In. They canceled it because it was too much work but that just means it's not overwhelming to marathon their episodes ๐Ÿ‘

43:21 Owen and Brett like Friends ๐Ÿ™Œ

50:57 Steve coughing in the background ๐Ÿ˜‚

57:36 This is hard for me to imagine because Owen sounds like a tall person that I didn't expect him to have been a short kid.

1:12:15 I remember liking Free Willy because I think it was one of the first feel-good movies I've experienced. Usually those movies were boring to me but that one caught me at the right time.

1:05:46 The tweet they were talking about: Link

1:06:41 Brett reads fanfiction. DB should bring this back.

1:11:20 Brett likes Owen's sign off and it becomes official for TB.

In my last Talkin' Banter post, I said if I could tweet Brett and Owen a question, I would ask how they both met. And I was able to ask that thanks to Steve streaming on Twitch!

Owen answering it.

Also, what the fuck, Brett?! There could've been a weekly fun show but you didn't want to do it because it's an anime?! (I'm guessing you don't like anime because you didn't like Cowboy Bebop and refuse to watch Deathnote.)

Dude! After that, it could've put Steve into the groove to do another show or movie that you love! He might have let you pick anything as a reward for having to watch a show you didn't like!

I can't believe you didn't think it was worth it to sit and laugh with your friends every week. Even if it's watching something you don't like, it can still be fun! Clips! New and old clips! Theme songs. Funny emails. Plus, anything with Steve is going to be fun.

This was the first time I've heard Steve actually wanting to start up the It Feels Like The First Time podcast again and you stopped him, Brett ๐Ÿ˜ญ
