Penpal
It's been so fun writing letters to my friend and decorating it! And getting letters from her!
I watched a lot of penpal videos on Youtube and it looked so relaxing so I sent letters, around Christmas, to four of my friends hoping they would send one back. I also didn't want them to feel any pressure so I never asked for them to send any back, I just asked if they ever had a penpal before and that I used to in grade school. Hoping that was a big enough clue to write back if they wanted.
It's so fun!
Elden Ring
I love how there are a lot of bosses that you can just escape from and come to back later. It doesn't lock you into an area every time. It also doesn't become a dead end where you can't do anything else until you beat the story boss. There are so many other locations you can explore before having to continue with the story bosses.
I just wish the were WAY more stylish armor and clothing.
Better Call Saul
Best show of the year. Ended so satisfying.
The Walking Dead S11
Reminds me of Lalo from Better Call Saul with how he smiles at his enemies.
(He looks like Saul though lol)
Snow White with the Red Hair manga
This is fan art of it and I can't find who made it. It was uploaded by someone random, not the artist.
I wish this was real. I'm only reading this manga for these two characters. Any moments they have alone, I'm happy. But it's wholesome and friendly...
This is the first time I really want a love triangle in a love story because I love him and the main guy for her. They both are good men.
I wish Obi and her would have a secret relationship while Zen takes his time to be official with her. It's not that type of story though, it's very innocent. Which I find frustrating lol I wish this was made here so that it would be that type of story.
I'm just sick of manga and anime not going past kissing in their love stories.
Andromeda Six
It's the only Dating Sim game I REALLY like. I love how there are 2 ways to flirt. Instead of other games where it only gives you one style of flirting with a character. If you're character is shy, you can let a character know you like them in a shy way. But if you're a smooth talker, there's an option to flirt that way too.
The only thing bad about it is this story treats sex like it's a special and sacred thing like other games do. Games think sex needs to be saved for the last mission or if you're truly in love with each other. I wish there were options to have casual sex. It doesn't need to be a 18+ rating and show the characters fucking but at least show them in bed after sex and talking. Or just have them mention it the next time they see each other. It's my only complaint.
The Boys
I can't believe it took me so long to watch this show! But it's good I did because I was able to marathon all three seasons without having to wait. I love that it makes fun of DC and Marvel comic/movie series. I love how dark and realistic this world is if superhumans were real.
Also, Maeve's attitude towards Hughie, I get it. LOL I get it and I agree with her.
Stranger Things S4
A Nightmare on Elm Street and Hellraiser feel in this season! I loved it! I used to love those movies when I was little but they are very dated, not as scary as I remember. So, it was nice seeing a updated version of those two movie series together. This show is very entertaining.
A part of me wishes it wasn't made for a child audience because I want to see how dark it could get. A lot of characters have plot armor but over all, it's a really good show.
Dragon Age Origins
I replayed this game after watching someone else play it. Just got in the mood and I'm sad I can't replay the 2nd game because I only have it for PS3 and my PS3 doesn't work anymore... but I'm excited to reply the 3rd game! It's been a while.
(Zervan is the best romance in the game because it can feel casual or serious. The other relationships just feel like one or the other.)
Violating Community Guidelines podcast
It's funny. The only thing annoying is they both act like being in your late 20s is old.
And they don't like anime or video games. Like, they look down on that part of nerd culture. Luckily, they don't bring it up much.
Stardew Valley
I heard so much about this game but I was never in the mood. I finally played it and I love it. It's a good time waster. And playing with my husband is really fun!
Alan Wake
I can't believe it took me so long to check out this game. It's so good! I'm so into this type of stuff. I watched a No Commentary playthrough instead of buying it but I can't wait to get this game once it's on sale!
(Spoiler Alert)
Also, I loved the ending to the main game, I didn't take it as a big cliffhanger. I took it as the ending. Him living in a "hell" forever in exchange for his wife and the town being safe.
And the ending to the DLC I feel the same. It was a good ending where I don't expect a second game. But I am happy there is one. So excited!
Ghost of Tsushima
Was finally able to see this story finish! I didn't buy it because I don't have the money to buy every single game that comes out. I was watching someone play it but they stopped uploading then over a year later I watched someone else play it and I loved it. I think it was worth the wait. Loved the story!
The person playing it was
AGirlAndAGame. I really recommend her. She just plays the game and doesn't try to be funny. She doesn't talk over dialogue, she pays attention.
Stray
I loved it. Worth the full price. Super chill, exploration game.
It's an indie game that looks like a triple-A game.
Never Have I Ever S3
I'm not going to spoil anything for S3 so here's a clip from S1.
I love this couple. I love the mom in the show.
Main character's friends grew on me in S2 but I still hate Ben's character. He's so fucking annoying. But I do like his moments with Paxton in S3. He just seems like the only character that doesn't develop around the main character. The others improve their relationship with her but not him. He'll always be her "rival."
Law and Order shows
I love these two characters so much. These shows are a treat.
Cottagecore and Van Life
I got really into a youtube channel because she did a winter vlog with no talking in a cabin in the woods. I watched more and seen she used to do a lot of Van Life videos before she owned the cabins.
Obviously, the Van Life is relaxing but I think I really liked it because of her.
I tried watching other Van Life/Cottagecore Yotubers but they seem so fake and don't admit they are privileged. While Hannah does.
Bad stuff:
We are OFK is a waste of money. The character development is bad and last minute. The story wastes so much time on is useless cat character than dealing with character problems. It's a pretty game and a better style to do visual novels than the usual style but it's wasted on this simple, boring story. The characters were written to be "relatable" to young adults instead of being written to be realistic.
The flaky group gets upset with one friend for getting a good job and leaving them but they're unstable, anyone would be stupid to put all their eggs in that basket. None of them (but Jey) can just shut up and be professional. They are always so whiny, cracking jokes and talking about future androids than actually working. Jey should've stayed away after being ignored by them. She should've quit her job and got a different one without begging to be in their friend group again. It was so pathetic how the writers forced her to go back to them.
Cyberbang 69 was a big disappointment. It's a misleading name. I talk about why here.
Ozark's ending was so bad. Looking at Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul tells me it doesn't take much to have a satisfying ending. Just give us character reactions of what they just did instead of quickly cutting to black and missing out on their reactions.
But the writers wanted to go edgy. And wanted it open just in case they want to do more with this series in the future.
I hated it. I get it but I hate it.
Game of Thrones thinking the throne is more important as the "final boss" than The Night King.... Dragon Age Origins did it better.
